Riporto prima di tutto il comunicato ufficiale:

Please be advised that Polaroid will be discontinuing the manufacture of its SX-70 / Time-Zero film within the first 3 months of 2006 due to the phasing out of components used in the production of this film.

We realise that this is disappointing news for our loyal SX-70 users and we would like to underline that, although the circumstances made it inevitable, it was not an easy decision.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

For customers who would like to continue using their SX-70 camera, we can offer some film alternatives below. However, we do appreciate that these films do not offer the same characteristics as SX-70 / Time-Zero film.

Ovvero polaroid smettera' di produrre film di tipo SX-70 e Time Zero nel primo trimestre del 2006, Le circostanze che hanno portato a questa decisione sono inevitabili e la casa si scusa con tutti gli utilizzatori che continuano ad utilizzare queste pellicole. Esistono delle alternative ma polaroid si rende conto che i film di tipo 600 e 779 che possono essere usati con qualche aggiustamento sulle macchine sx-70 non danno gli stessi risultati. Aggiungo che (come riporatato in questo link http://www.polaroid.com/sx70/en/index.html) le pellicole 600 e 779 sono 4 volte piu' veloci delle pellicole Sx-70 e time zero, quindi non si puo' piu' far rifermiento all'esposimetro delle macchine sx-70.

Normalmente le pellicole 600 e 779 hanno dei fermi che ne impediscono il caricamento nelle macchine Sx-70 che bisogna con cautela rimuovere per poter usare i suddetti film.

E questa e' una soluzione??????
